Responsabilities

Responsibilities include preparing and teaching undergraduate introductory Physics, Astronomy and Earth Science lectures and labs. Additionally, the ideal candidate is expected to contribute service to both the university and to the profession. Successful candidates must demonstrate the commitment and capability to provide an excellent learning environment to students, work with student-centered methods of instruction, and contribute to the continuing development and implementation of curricular content. UNF’s Department of Physics is committed to increasing student participation and persistence in STEM fields. The Department also has a strong history of community outreach, and the ideal candidate would contribute to the continuation of those programs.

Requirements

Minimum of Master’s degree.
