CCS Warm-Up 2025
The registrations for the Warm-Up at the Conference on Complex Systems are open! Join us in Siena for a weekend full of research and fun.
Taking advantage of the presence of a wide variety of experts in different topics meeting for the Conference on Complex Systems (CCS), we are organising a two-day informal event for PhD students and early-stage scientists. You will have the opportunity to attend talks by prominent researchers, learn about the scientific and life experience of young and senior colleagues, and – last but not least – have fun and socialise!
When?
Event: August 29-30th 2025, the Friday and Saturday just before CCS 2025.

Applications are accepted based on a first-come, first-served principle, on a rolling basis, until all spots are filled.

Accomodation
Reserved lodging is available for a limited number of participants at Il Refugio, a student residence within walking distance of the event venue. The stay is from 28 August to 5 September (8 nights), with special rates:
- Double room: €50 per person/night – breakfast included
- Triple room: €42 per person/night – breakfast included
